Tonight’s family film was The Evil Dead. I do enjoyed being able to see my daughter watch stuff for the first time. As well as being a horror fan, she has a wonderful tolerance for things that to her young eyes could seem dated.

Family film night tonight is Down and Out in Beverly Hills. Last night’s film was But I’m a Cheerleader. Neither quite fit the bill, but I do love a trashy aesthetic, and there’s a least a little trash/kitsch influence in both.

First new drawing of 2023. I’ve definitely been slowing down lately. I’m not terribly familiar with Paul Bearer and The Undertaker, but they look cool and this was a fun commission.

Tonight’s dad and daughter #film is Jonathan Demme’s Crazy Mama. Always for time for a Corman #movie and have wanted to see this one for a while. Also, can’t watch The Last of Us while Mrs HD is at work :D

Honestly, today’s delivery makes me deliriously happy. My first Playmobil figure and I’ve never read Not-Vonnegut before.

Family film night with Psycho Beach Party. Figured my daughter would like it, and happily proved right :)
