Was steckt hinter dem Deal mit RWE?

Um die Versorgungssicherheit von Deutschland mit Strom zu garantieren, braucht es die Kohle unter Lützerath nicht. Das belegen wissenschaftliche Berechnungen. Das war ein Argument für die umstrittene Räumung des Dorfes. Und auch mit dem Argument der Grünen, ihr Deal mit dem Energieriesen sei gut für den Klimaschutz, hat der vorgezogene Ausstiegstermin aus der Braunkohle im Rheinischen Revier nicht viel zu tun. Denn Braunkohleverstromung wird ab 2030 wegen der immer teurer werdenden CO2-Zertifikate unrentabel. Was also steckt dann hinter dem Deal mit dem Energiekonzern RWE? Kontraste über ein teures und schmutziges Geschäft.
