so as time goes on i have started to legitimately dislike this instance more and more because it seems like progressively more fascistic and self-absorbed people have adopted the space for self-gain.
after talking to another person and realising that I am not alone in thinking this instance went from 80-20 to 50-50 in terms of how many shitheads there are I've decided to move instances and full-force hurl follows at the people I get on with here

was cool while it lasted tho

if animal rights matter as much as human rights it feels like "don't do stupid shit to your pets that they clearly fucking hate" matters as much as "don't murder them for food you don't need"

@carlygayjepsen that's fair, i like the smallness of a.space but at this point i have half the instance either muted or blocked for just being kind of insufferably self-absorbed so i've been thinking about switching lately too tbh

so i hate politicians as a general rule of thumb but
honest opinion; I actually really do like Ocasio-Cortez and I think being that outspoken as a WoC is fucking immensely brave right now
