@Some_Emo_Chick Also, ivermectin is a source of very dramatic environmental problem. It is widely used for parasite prevevention and toxic to all arthropods and annelids. It also passes through the intestinal passage and concentrates in dung. Those toxic dungs collapse the populations of dung beetles (and other decomposing arthropods).
The end result is an accumulation of undecomposed dung in the field and spillover effects on insectivores that miss dung beetles as a resource.
