On 27th November 2025, the PSDI hosted a webinar titled “FAIR materials database for NMR Crystallography”, presented by Dr Sathya Sai Seetharaman.

For those who missed the live session or wish to revisit the discussion, the full webinar is available on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ows6xB-NBCU

The Skills4Scientists guidance materials are designed to enhance researchers' capabilities in areas such as computing, research data management, and other transferable research skills, supporting them in all aspects of their work.

This course provides an introduction to the concepts of good data visualisations, how colour perception is important to what graphics can show and how to implement some basic plotting using the python package matplotlib: https://resources.psdi.ac.uk/guidance/3894adca-5032-495d-aa36-8a0d00cfd37c

Our webinar series provide updates on our exploratory pathfinder work, and on relevant tools and technologies that have been developed by members of our community.

This record contains a more detailed version of the presentation that was presented at the "How do we use metadata to plug your Physical Science data or software into PSDI" webinar presented by Dr Aileen Day on 11th December 2025.
