The PS5 was my first console since the N64.

While I appreciate that Sony was trying to do interesting design, the choice of shitty plastic for its case defeats that attempt completely. Crappy plastic just isn’t the medium to pull that off. I immediately bought a bracket so I could hang it under the rear of my desk so I wouldn’t have to see it.

This is one of my favorite pictures. The sense of time from it is palpable.

I love what it says about something as mundane as rope, that humans perfected it thousands of years ago and its form has remained essentially unchanged for millennia.
