A coin-operated Pythia. A friend approximated by the architecture of their syllables.

@DekaBlack @distractedmosfet They do say this. Chant it, really. Loud, asynchronous and right outside my window
@DekaBlack @distractedmosfet ohh, caught a homestuck on an entirely unrelated project. Exciting

Made a horror IF about a paranormal investigator spending seven weeks to investigate seven cases for #ectocomp2025 https://distractedmosfet.itch.io/exorcist-tipline

@Ouro and I did the writing. Asha A.M and I on art.

It has many shortcomings, but it was a great creative exercise.

Probably one of the more interesting #writing exercises I've done: Draft an actual story first and then tell it from the perspective of a very distant observer who has basically none of the relevant information to make out what matters and what is happening https://ouroboros.cafe/stories/remember
To Remember The Sun

A less than scientific report on the contents of a satellite and the fate of earth

first i had to verify i'm human to go online, now i have to verify i'm old. will the indignities never end.
@TarbuckTransom I do occasionally use "in my opinion" when the other party has thoroughly demonstrated that they have such a poor grasp of communication/theory of mind/whatever that they genuinely don't understand that "imo" is necessarily implied by the fact that I'm saying it. As such it feels condescending to say and I feel condescended to when other people use it on me. "Duh it's just your opinion, I was never under any illusion that you're some oracular arbiter of reality, my guy"
Whenever I see a card game or something where all the point values are multiples of 5 (or 500, *Yugioh*) I always think dividing them out is the right choice. I have the exact same relationship to "in my opinion".
Due to a rather embarrassing mixup, it is actually the murdered wife of an unfaithful doctor who has been haunting Europe for the past hundred years. The spectre of communism on the other hand has been somewhat pointlessly haunting a mansion in the British countryside
The United States have a town called North which lies in the south. The southern half of the southernmost Carolina to be exact. It also has three towns called West, not a single one of which lies in the west. Any insanity that springs from a nation so willfully opposed to truthful appellation should be utterly unsurprising
Cryptids or "Enigma Males" as the youths have taken to calling them...
