The new #Valve #SteamMachine has RGB! Would love to see #OpenRGB support on it so it can sync with other peripherals. I'm sure it will be controllable through Steam but it'd be nice if Valve also allowed third party control (i.e. let Steam ignore/disable it). I hope Valve will publish documentation on how to interface with it.
Working on an overhaul to the #OpenRGB Profile Manager for API v5/SDK v6 for OpenRGB 1.0. Profiles will now be saved in .json format and plugins will be able to embed their own profile-specific settings into OpenRGB profiles. No more having a separate profile system just for the Effects plugin! Now you can seamlessly switch between profiles using hardware effects and profiles using the Effects plugin. This work is being done on the next branch and is not yet ready to be merged into master.
