A place to find good blogs that interest you
After extracting all of the URLs linked to from blog posts, and removing all the ones that obviously aren't actually URLs, the longest URL is currently 6917 characters.
There are several feeds that the site has trouble fetching, because requests fail with “Can't connect to domain.” But I can access them fine in my browser. I'm not sure what causes this or how to get around it. Any ideas?

I must have missed the news that the BBC shut down some? all? of its blogs recently. The blogs have disappeared and the index of them redirects to an archived version https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/
Good news: ooh.directory has been whitelisted by TypePad and so we can once again fetch their blogs' feeds.

Phil GyfordIf you know things about Google web fonts and emoji and have nothing better to do… recently the Noto Emoji font has stopped working for me on https://ooh.directory, with Safari and Firefox either not rendering particular emoji, or not using the font for some. Works fine in Chrome!

New blog post: All TypePad feeds are failing

All feeds hosted at typepad.com have been returning "403 Forbidden" errors for over a week.
For some reason requests for RSS feeds hosted on TypePad have been "Forbidden" for ooh.directory's crawler for a few days, so none of them are updating on the site. Hopefully it's temporary…
