@YusufToropov @tabletopmania @RuthODay @APBAreplay @AlexanderRaine7 I’m a bit conflicted about home-field adjustments. They are fun, maybe more so for a draft league, but with any adjustment, you run the risk of having totals skewed. Probability needs many instances to work itself out. A Grade D Pitcher can pitch like a Grade A over 3 games.
@Teri_Kanefield You call it anxiety. I call it passion. We need people to be passionate. Passion gets us involved; calmness sits around and does little. I’d rather see people riled up than not. The American Revolution came about because people were passionate; Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine saw to that. The fact is, American colonists were not slaves, or too heavily taxed. But they passionately claimed they were. “Chains”? There were no chains to sit lightly.

@Teri_Kanefield Goebbels and the Republicans know that the way to sell a lie is to repeat it over and over and over. Of course we don’t want the Dems to lie, but what’s wrong with repeating the truth over and over and over?

The GOP will repeat their message, while the Dems attitude is more, “Hey, we told the truth once, that’s all that is necessary”.

@Teri_Kanefield I watch political news more than 90% of America, and I don’t remember more than one statement from Garland. It’s nice that you know about it, but America doesn’t. I’m not saying they should be specific; just that they are aware of the situation, etc., etc. And say it regularly.

It pretty much goes to the prevailing opinion that Democrats aren’t very good at messaging.

@tabletopmania @YusufToropov @RuthODay @APBAreplay @cardboardkarl @AlexanderRaine7 And then you can learn to throw a knuckleball! 😁
@Teri_Kanefield Thak you for these excellent articles. I only wish someone in the DOJ had said something similar to this. Surely they could have? Isn’t it part of the job of the government to reassure the public, if for no other reason than to avoid extreme reactions?
@Teri_Kanefield So, what if a freedom is in the Constitution, but nobody pays any attention to it? Like in this instance. It’s scary to me.
@tabletopmania @YusufToropov @RuthODay @APBAreplay @cardboardkarl @AlexanderRaine7 I’m sure we all have done it. I probably wouldn’t even have noticed, but for my 1954 replay.
@Teri_Kanefield He is such a child, trying to get as close as possible to the line, without technically crossing it.
