Steven BeschlossSo Elon Musk thinks he can scare Twitter users by lying that substack newsletters, including my America, America, are unsafe and may be filled with violent content. Lie to Twitter users when they click on a link about a perceived competitor rather than fix his broken platform. Sad for writers. Sad for progressive communities. But it makes platforms like this more important.
I cannot understand how journalists are still on Twitter.
If you're not a racist, misogynist, or conspiracy theorist, but you are still on Twitter and contributing to that platform, then you are obviously OK with all of that. Even if you're only on there because in your mind it is the de facto micro blogging platform, you are just showing that you are still OK with all the above because it provides you with some personal or professional benefit.
Be better that that!
