You can scrub around in them. Look for the red bar on the bottom after the short starts. You can tap and drag on it and a little red circle will appear that will show briefly after you release.
I used to be all in with Google. After being burned over and over again, I’ve nearly entirely exited their ecosystem with some exceptions. I just don’t trust them anymore to maintain their products for the long haul.
Could have rabies. Bats don’t typically lay on the ground during the daytime unless they’re sick.
Hey - I just figured this out. Swipe left or right until the digital clock comes into view instead of swiping up and down on the clock.
I could have sworn there used to be a digital clock. If you long hold on the clock, you can change the widget and style. I bet eventually there will be more widgets available for standby.

3D printing has become really accessible over the past few years. Many affordable entry level printers come with automatic bed leveling and direct drive extruders, which previously only came on more expensive printers. IMO, it sounds like your use case is perfect for 3D Printing. There’s a variety of great entry level printers you can pickup right now for fairly cheap. I don’t have experience with them myself, but the Elegoo Neptune 3 or 4 seem to be well regarded for their price point. As far as getting started, Tom Sanladerer has a great intro to 3DP that can get your started on the concepts. It’s not hard to pickup. youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDJMid0lOOYnkcFhz6rfQ6…
