I tell ya, I really love wireless charging. It is so convenient and even better, it’s easy to create a wireless charging solution for your project too! Personally, I like the BQ51050 though there are a ton of great options out there. :)
Decided RP Watchy needed an update and some new features. The FPC connector is on the same layer as the RP2040, added an IMU+temp/hum sensor, removed some things that didn’t really end up being what I wanted them to be.
Wow, forgot about mastodon for a while 💀 anyway.. check out RPGA Feather 😎
RPiano is alive! Two small improvements needed:
1. Change the physical gain settle on the I2S amp, it’s a bit quiet.
2. Figure out a weird issue with the battery charging circuit.
5 IcyBlue FPGA Feathers done and flashed with a surprise initial bitstream. Now just a little documentation to do before these are ready to ship!
Well, I’m going to have to wait for the stencil before I can make any of these.. I’m kind of disappointed because the shipping label says there’s supposed to be a stencil.. at least the boards look good.
Cleaning up old designs has been a great reason for me to do more in KiCAD. Here is the RPGA Feather, an RP2040 + iCE40 FPGA!
RPiano is basically done at this point. Routing it looking good, final features like pitch up/down buttons added. StemmaQT port. Ah yeah, it’s all coming together.
It’s been a while, I wanted to share KeyBoy! It’s a WIP but it’s coming along nicely. You can get the firmware which works on circuitpython here:
