Old Adventures - Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb - Pawb.Social
I was a bit of a console kid in the late '80s to early '90s. So their are plenty
of games I missed on PC. I’m going to throw out the old games as I play them on
my list for two reasons. One to promote older forgotten games, and to clear my
back log of games. This week I started playing a game I had never heard of
Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb. It’s a point and click game, so if it’s
not your style that’s fine. You okay as Rif of the fox tribe trying to solve the
mystery of the missing orb. I haven’t completed it yet, but I’m a decent ways
in. I just got the item from the observatory. I’m trying to be discreet to not
spoil anything. When I was young I was a big fan of all Myst games, so this game
has been a joy to me. If anyone has any other recommendations for adventure
games let me know please.
What has been your favorite Adult Swim show?

What has been your favorite Adult Swim show? - Pawb.Social
What has been your favorite Adult Swim show? Went back recently to see what they
were showing to set my DVR, and started rewatching Cowboy Bebop. I’ve had many
over three years, but Cowboy Bebop was definitely the first one that got my
attached to watch Adult Swim.
Distro Question - Pawb.Social
I have an HP Victus laptop that I’m trying to get to fully work. It has two
GPUs. The integrated is an AMD and the discrete is an Nvidia. For about a month
I’ve been attempting to get Debian 12 to see and use the Nvidia card. My
knowledge on anything Linux is not strong. I got as far as getting the
proprietary driver loaded. I just couldn’t get anything to side load it when I
launched anything. I’ve stepped back a bit, and started to wonder if I’d have a
better experience if I tried a different distro. I’ve heard some are better for
multi-GPU situations like Manjaro. So I guess I’m asking everyone if I should
try jumping distros for this AMD/Nvidia situation?
Attempting the jump again - Pawb.Social
I’m not the richest guy. My desktop of 6 years died on me, so I only have my
Thinkpad T440p. It has an Intel HD Graphics 4600. Wanted a OSX looking distro,
so I chose Elementary OS. I had trouble in the past getting Vulkan to work on
it. Wish me luck I’m using Lutris at the moment to get WoW installed.
Diablo Immortal - Pawb.Social
Currently downloading the game to my phone. I have never played this particular
Diablo, but I have played the first 3 very much. I’m going into this with open
eyes and an optimistic mind. Now I have no intention of purchasing anything. My
goal is to see how far I can get into this game before it either stuck behind a
pay wall or it becomes an insurmountable grind. Those that have played it, how
far into it did you get before you put it down?
Second Hand Apple - Pawb.Social
I’ve never been able to buy a brand new computer. It’s their any good sites
besides ebay that sell second Hand Apple laptops? Most intense thing I play is
WOW. So I don’t feel like I need the best of the best. Does anyone have any
suggestions for myself who wants to get a MacBook?

Basically what game could you replay and never get bored of? For example I
replay Legend of Zelda Link to the Past annually, because it’s my favorite game
of all time. I give myself different goals but I play it every year.
GOG Summer Sale - Pawb.Social
Just wondering if anyone saw anything that caught their eye.

I need more to have a better idea what this will be, but my first reaction is
I’m worried for it. What’s your reaction to this?

I’m playing the patient gamer card on this one, but the Book of Lorath videos I
could watch over and over again.
