@nono my current notes are a combo of .md files and physical notebooks.

I've been seriously considering using the .md files with hugo or something similar to selfhost a public facing site, and leaving individual games on OP...

What advantages are you getting out of a public facing wiki for setting work (over individual games)

@gamethyme
That's where I do most of my individual campaigns. I'm not really liking it for managing a whole setting though.
What campaign management systems are you using and why?

So on top of the KS for the box, they're doing a new rpg ruleset. Backers get a beta pdf.

Update 16: Ad Hoc Clan Star, Pledge Graphics, And Closed Beta! · BattleTech: Clan Invasion

We’ve got numerous updates to share, so let’s dive in. Ad Hoc Clan Star Pack The Formation Building and Formation Building (Redux) updates have generated a combined 1,600 comments! That’s in addition to other discussions in our official forums at bg.battletech.com, Facebook groups, and more. As I mentioned in those previous posts, that level of enthusiasm and focused interaction is fantastic.  We’ve heard you regarding the ’Mechs which were ultimately voted off the DropShip. With that in mind, the following Ad Hoc Clan Star Pack will be added to the miniatures we’ll produce in plastic. As usual, this Star Pack may be selected with any Star/Lance Pack reward, and is also available as an add-on. Kodiak Fire Falcon Hellion Pack Hunter Howler If your favorite didn’t make the cut, never fear: ’Mechs that did not make this Kickstarter will still be fair game for redesign down the line. Pledge Level Graphics With our graphic designers hard at work on other great projects (see one of those, below), we noticed a fan had produced amazing graphics along the lines of what we planned to produce coming out of Gen Con.  We’ve since contacted the designer, working with him to ensure everything is correct, and we’ve now added those graphics to our Kickstarter page! Hopefully this will ensure everyone knows exactly what they’re getting at each level. (If anyone spots any issues, feel free to let us know!) MechWarrior Destiny Closed Beta During this campaign we stealth-announced MechWarrior: Destiny, a new, rules-light tabletop RPG set in the BattleTech universe. We’ve seen the amazing enthusiasm for the book among our Kickstarter backers, and want to tap that wellspring of energy and knowledge. At Gen Con we made the decision that all backers would get access to MechWarrior: Destiny Closed Beta PDF for free. We’ll deliver that to you in the near future, along with details surrounding that playtest. Enjoy!

@kirby So with the 3 versions of it now (Alpha Strike, Quick-Start, and Classic/Full Ruleset) there's really a good tabletop option for all skillsets and playlevels. Anything from quick games to the long stuff.

@kirby I was actually exposed to it before D&D. So it's very much on my list of games I remember.

I just wish the rpg side of it wasn't terribly convoluted. With the explosion of projects like this maybe we'll get something a bit better in followup.

I'm really tempted. I miss battletech, and a fresh box with what looks to be much better plastics than previous ones (looking at the 6th box set disaster) would be nice.

BattleTech: Clan Invasion

The Clan Invasion brought dozens of new 'Mech designs to the Inner Sphere. Now, we're bringing them to your tabletop as new miniatures!

Kickstarter

Ended my Pathfinder RPG and Adventure Path subscriptions today. Supporting 2nd edition PF will come with time.

There's just still so much of 1st ed my groups haven't touched, and with setting work being system neutral now... it seems better to focus and save a little cash.
