@SeaFury I use, "explorers" for my work computers:
- Shackleton
- Hillary (sir Edmund)
- Viesturs
- Tamatekapua
- York (see Lewis & Clark)
- Watson (Vera)

The, "what" doesn't matter: have a theme and it'll give you a list of hostnames.

You can also go with puns:
> The first work server I put up where I'm at now was just a web server. Hostname is , ❝peterparker❞ (get it… "web" server)

@SeaFury have a theme and follow it. The University of Oregon uses, "ducks." My older brother once suggested "Shakespeare characters"

At my work — for servers — it's currently, "famous cats:"
