Food banks around the country are in desperate need of support. They rely heavily on resources from the USDA and many rural food banks don’t have communities that can make up for the current losses. Donations of non-perishable food or money is good but please call your Reps

Please get involved in your local community organizations. They have an outsized impact on the things you interact with everyday and almost all organizations I’ve interacted with need volunteers

Getting rwally tired of headlines being written to normalize stupidity. The Sec Def is most decidedly not an expert on climate change but wording a headline like this makes it sound like this is a decision based on science or reason, not the political play that it actually is
@BasicAppleGuy Ordered a new one tk go with a new iPad Air. The experience was like Apple was actively working to wipe it’s existence off of the store. There isn’t a great alternative that I’ve found and for those of us that don’t want a Surface style stand a la Logitech we’ll be forced to shell out the extra cash for the heftier magic keyboard or switch off of iPad
@molly0xfff The feeling of being fully in control. You only discovered sites or forums because you were told about it by someone else or the URL was clear cut. Now discovery of every site, every forum post, and every account on social media is guided by some algorithm whether known or unknown. It has turned the internet to a place where discovery is optimized for engagement so there ar things you will never experience because the algorithm thinks you won’t engage with it

@molly0xfff @Nomadd Think paper grocery bag but vacuum sealed. I literally give all my family members quart sized bags full of bay leaves whenever I see them. It’s been nearly 3 years and I still haven’t gotten rid of half the bag
