Or be in Canada and just get shots to be safe. It’s $250 as a precautionary shot before travel but if you have suspected exposure it will be free.

Only a handful of people (20ish) have ever survived without getting an antiviral shot before symptoms presented.

And it’s a pretty horrific way to die (absolutely dehydrated and needing fluid but gagging and choking if offered a drink).

If I ever got it I’d want to be put in a coma while my immune system tried to knock it out and euthanized if I didn’t recover reasonably.

I feel bad for Gaza people put in that position by Hummas terrorist criminals.
Don’t think education has much to do with it when emotion takes over. If I had a personal experience with it I’d be out for blood too and I’m well educated.
I think politicians are getting very close to being handed a mandate from the public that doesn’t include “good” solutions but mean, punitive ones.

I agree. I don’t mind the government spending real money on it to prove it works, but 100% the advocates will never agree to forcibly incarcerating people who are unwilling or unable to participate in society at a civilized level.

So it’s doomed to fail and everyone will want to thanos -snap the problem away.

I’m building a new house right now and planning for a Server closet in the basement with 10g connecting between floors so I can always upgrade per-floor later on. This might be a good option.
I think everyone needs to see proof of it working and I mean visibly reducing crime and violence, not saving lives.
