This is such a bizarre article. The Colorado Safety Stop and Denver Deserves Sidewalks are two different initiatives and the author weirdly attributes them all the "bicycle lobby" but it is the Glendale Cherry Chronicle which has always been unhinged.

I just finished the Dan Savage episode of @TheWarOnCars. It was great. One of the listener questions was basically "how do I unsee all the things I've had my eyes opened too?"
My answer to this is - you can't.
However if you want to do the next closest thing, experience your city with a visitor. Take a visiting advocate on a bike ride, walk through your city with friends, or ride transit to a place you wouldn't normally go.
They'll see things you now miss, guaranteed.
Walking away from Twitter, at least for a bit. Was truly doing nothing positive for me lately. It's just getting so bad.
The one thing I haven't seen mentioned is Twitter was Elon's marketing/PR/support wing of Tesla. Things have really soured for them in Twitter and I think that's a huge reason he is doing his best to tank it. It's his fucked up way of controlling the message and it hurts everyone.
