@atrupar honestly it mostly speaks to the fact that Fox “News”’s Soviet-style “mirror, then lead” propaganda has worked swimmingly on 30% of the American electorate. My dad, for example, used to be a bonfide skeptic — now he just swallows any damn thing Fox tells him to believe, even the most incredulous bullshit imaginable.
So yeah — we are screwed.
