Though Serbia has had mass protests off and on over the last several years, none have come close to this size, energy or organization in terms of demands and proposals for what's next. These are, by far, the largest anti-government protests the country has seen in over 20 years.

Something is brewing. I am hopeful that the time gor change has finally come. Again.

This reminds me a whole lot of the 96/97 protests and the subsequent 2000 revolution that ousted Slobodan Milosevic. Rumors of a general strike, protests of Kolubara mine workers (a massive source of energy for a good chunk of Serbia), and trns of thousands of protesters gathering in the capital for the 6th weekend in a row.

Confession: I'm really enjoying watching my generation grow old(er). Y'all are looking fine as f***.

Also, in a few years, I'm probably going to be unbearable to be around for longer than five minutes. Think Dame Maggie Smith but with more swearing, a slow sipping glass of aged tequila, and a cigarillo. Imma enjoy the hell out of that too.

Like every other Tom, Dick, and Mary, been following the failure of SVB and trying to grasp what happens next.

I'm in the camp of disappointed-but-not-surprised over this significant hit to startups, venture capital, and financial industries.

Hoping this + other factors will lead to a much more mature and conservative startup and venture capital landscape.

In honor of Skin being awarded OBE by King Charles III last week, I've started the kids on a raw diet of nothing but Skunk Anansie.

I was also made aware that Skunk Anansie were not as known in the Americas as I'd previously assumed. I put on a string of pearls just so I could clutch them.
