First, congrats to President Biden for repealing DOMA! And, I was just reading about Biden creating some propaganda sound montage to make sure that we knew he was so far ahead of the game to repeal the DOMA in 2012. Well, I had some friends in the gay community in 1996 and let’s just say that it didn’t go over well when Biden and many other Democrats voted for it in the first place. I get it that “it was the times.” But don’t congratulate yourself for being a pioneer, like Bernie Sanders.
