@Knitronomicon people come to our door and press the light switch on the side wall instead of the doorbell right in front of them - you'd think the light going on would give them a clue...

@lilithsaintcrow we used to have a monkeypuzzle tree in front of the house, I used to watch visiting birds and squirrels from my bedroom. Sadly it had to be cut down as the roots were interfering with the foundation. I still miss it, 20+ years on.
@JdeBP we can only get the bigger jars of Bovril in our Tesco in Leicester, maybe it's a #BovrilRationing postcode lottery?

@Knitronomicon I know the feeling, I had to pay £7 for four buttons today as the only day I can get into town is Sunday and nowhere is open except John Lewis...
@lilithsaintcrow my son came out as trans at 13, suffered years of abuse at school which impacted on his mental health and education, but is 19 now and in a relationship with a lovely guy. My mum still misgenders him, then wonders why they have little contact. I'm immensely proud of him
@Knitronomicon nice! None of my scissors stay around long enough, they're either upstairs (son) or up the garden (husband). At least the dogs don't take them 🙄
