I have a crackpot theory that the Saudis are pressuring Elon to undermine TSLA stock by any means possible, giving them an entry point into electrification so their economy isn't completely & totally boned when oil is no longer the dominant means of powering transportation.
Elon gets paid off, Saudis pile out of their Trojan horse and everyone else is none the wiser.
