@Radical_EgoCom I don't view voting as a matter of supporting the establishment. I can vote and still support tearing the whole system down and starting over, and I don't view that as a contradiction. Because until we get enough people on our side, we still have to live within this system, and refusing to vote doesn't mean you're immune from the consequences of elections.
Does it suck that democrats and republicans ultimately support the same system, just in different ways? Yes, but supporting democrats means things like better social safety nets. Better social safety nets means poor people have more stable living conditions. And guess what? Poor people are probably the easiest to motivate against capitalism, but the problem is they're forced to work so much that they don't have *time* to fight against the system. They don't have time to even consider the idea of rebelling, because survival is more important.
I just think it's not realistic to view not voting as a neutral act, or a rebellion against the system. It's doing exactly what fascists want you to do, that's why fascists are always pushing anti-voting rights laws.
