There has been controversy over import of secondhand trains from Japan into Southeast Asia. As Southeast Asian operators turn towards brand new trains (maybe even if it is pricier) there are fewer outlets for Japanese operators to offload their old rolling stock.

@reece Here is what stop consolidation can do without better priority:
It used to be that Collins Street trams potentially had to stop in five locations between Spring and Swanston Streets, four of which were tram stops. Today, the Collins streets trams potentially have to stop in seven locations, three of which are tram stops!
Does it concern you buses are slower than cycling? What about the convenience of sitting versus walking?
It turns out there is this pile of haters who gang up on me on discord, especially on servers where some of them are moderators.
