Wandered in from the hellscape the bird-site became, but kind of always was... Left for good and deactivated there on 19 Nov 2022.

In the interest of filling out my Home feed, I'll follow almost anyone who follows me, BUT I'm gonna check your feed first to make sure we're compatible and that you're for real. No offense.

Once again, time to step away from the other topics and brag about somethin' I made: Chicken vegetable stew. (I love cooking.)

Ingredients: Three large boneless chicken breasts (pre-roasted a couple days ago), cut into bite-sized bits. Celery, onions, potatoes, garlic, homegrown carrots and parsnips, several green and red chilis, various spices to taste, a little white wine, all in a thick, savory sauce. Rather spicy overall, but that's what we like here.

Well, just so my peeps here know I'm not all about politics, horses, or remarking on being new on Mastodon, I also enjoy cooking.

Here's a photo of yesterday's homemade pizza: Semolina-blend flour crust with a bit of sourdough starter in it, tomato sauce w/spices and sauteed veggies, parmesan, mozzarella, asagio, Jarlsberg, and cheddar cheeses, topped with onions, garllic, and green chilis. Baked at 450F on a pizza stoneโ€”the parchment paper is to keep that clean.
