My interests include the New Zealand Criminal Justice Industry, human rights, LGBTQI+, music, visual arts, design, social justice, and hiking/tramping. I love meeting new people and have a genuine interest in knowing who you are.

Was George Orwell's 1984 a novel or an instruction manual?

Shocking political interfence. When they say they can't comment on police investigations, but write letters to police instead.

What is NZ media up to? They really do need to check what they write about; Remember David Farrier's article about this woman?

Corrections propaganda continues, they cannot rehabilitate prisoners, yet claim;
"Corrections had a programme of work underway to review its rehabilitation and integration programmes to ensure they were effective and efficient..."

These so-called 'reviews' happen year round, this is the bullshit line they use all the time.

Over 300 million spent on rehabilitation that doesn't, cannot, and will never work in prison.

Funding drug courts has a huge impact on reducing reoffending.

NZ Police admit to terrorising families:

"That's when you find all their cash and their drugs and you turn up at two in the morning and wake them and their kids up and find their meth and their guns and everything. They won't want that," he said.

"State Care"

RNZ has now seen a leaked Cabinet paper that states this change "may be viewed as increasing the potential risk of abuse in custody, particularly in light of historic abuse experienced by children and young people in similar programmes".

Asked if he had given boot camp staff the ability to use force this morning, Christopher Luxon told Newstalk ZB: "It's not something I've been briefed on, it's not something that I'm aware of, it's not something that I should be involved in."

'... This is a matter of integrity, of laying the moral foundation for the nation and then all our experts, laws, lawyers, theologians, academics and iwi Māori can all gather around and say, 'Ah, this actually has an impact upon the very identity of who we are as a people'.

1. The Abuse in State and Faith Based Care Report clearly demonstrates religion is not the arbiter of morality.

2. With more than 50% of Kiwis having no religious belief, it has nothing to do with identity.
