If violence is limited by weighing the cost of the violence vs the gain, what happens when controlling the entire population becomes more lucrative than it costs? How does a system like that change? How might a tipping point like that occur?
Am I addicted to my phone? Or is the current smartphone just a piece of infrastructure for our CyberCapitalist Hellscape, intended to keep me engaged in the system? I genuinely feel like getting off these spyware devices is like fighting gravity
