So for #AlienDay I bought Alien Isolation (80%off on steam till tomorrow). Going to play it on my rather big TV after work.
In completely unconnected news, finally going to replace the spent light bulbs in the hall of my flat tonight too.
Mani is a most excellent beastie 10/10
Airport pints are the best pints. Even if this one is cold and I'll soon be drinking nice warm, flat ale as the beer gods intended.
All packed more my few days away, with the traditional packing of excessive amounts of socks and knickers. I don't know what I ever expect to happen to these on holiday, but I am incapable of going away without doing that.
The Tree in Muckross Abbey
When you visit Muckross Abbey in Killarney, one thing that immediately catches your eye is the magnificent tree that grows right in the middle of the building. The tree is so large that it almost looks like it’s part of the abbey, as if the building had grown around it over time.

In Photos dot OrgNice one, my bro just informed me there is cheap pints and free cheeseboards in the pub on Sunday for St George's day. I can fake patriotism for the country of my birth for free cheese and cheap beer.
Greatly looking forward to tasty pints of warm, flat ale at mostly a reasonable alcohol %.
So much of the craft ales over here are just a bit too strong to comforbly drink without me getting excessively merry.
Short week for me this week. Off to the UK to visit my Bro and my oldest nephew. Which will also include a day trip to London on Saturday to see Patagotitan at the NHM and the most excellent Goat play in Brixton.
Might also be going to see a Vulcan bomber in Southend Sunday. Mixed on that one, as want to see it, but will also mean leaving at 7am after getting in 1am ish for a 3 hour drive in my bro's extremely loud and uncomfortable 1974 Land Rover 101 ,which he may be exhibiting.
Watching a history of horror films doc on YouTube before going to bed, where you live alone, in what would have originally been the basement of a 200 year old building as fog descends outside, is not one of my most genius plans for a good night's sleep.
So after a week of having my Steam Deck and also first time playing FPS games, I've discovered I would have died immediately in WW2, but I'm i bit better at shooting bounty hunters and droids .
But more practice needed before I start playing Co Op with the provider of said Deck . Then I might play something slightly less murdery, well maybe a bit more sword and arrows murdery whilst roaming pretty landscapes at least!
