@mountainduckapp Yes, the setup is as you described. Preference -> Sync is set to „integrated“. I can’t change the mode in the bookmark. It’s insensitive in the GUI and says „default“.

When I user e.g. PDFify, there is no problem saving to the same file. I tried different connect modes and preferences but with no difference. (Is integrated mode used for local connections? It seems it is always an NFS mount.)
Using Pages files, there is no problem to save them with original name. It seems only PDFs with the Preview app are affected. If I try the same test with the Cryptomator app, the above steps work without problems.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
@mountainduckapp Hi, I tried MD 5.0.4 app on macOS 26 and have problems with Cryptomator folders.
1. Create a new folder on the local hard disk in the Documents folder.
2. Create a new vault with the current Cryptomator version in this folder
3. Mount the local hard disc with MD in integrated mode
4. Copy a PDF into the vault.
5. Edit PDF with Preview app and make changes, e.g. mark some text and save
6. Preview tells me „Can’t save under the same location. Duplicate created“

@Junihase Gute Frage! Die machen das jährlich. Vielleicht ist aber zu Corona-Zeit etwas ausgefallen, vielleicht sind sogar schon mehr Jahre vergangen.
