Wouldn’t that just make them… PCs?

I forgot to finish my argument earlier - that computers being convenient for gaming is why PC gaming will never fully die. But consoles can still have their hard-core gaming niche by specializing for high perfomance/price ratio and making it easier for devs to make games for them (not even exclusives, just regular ports).

Also, bring back a true physical media option or something. If I’m going to have to download a game/patch, I might as well use a PC.

Controlware is good.

The thing about “PC gaming” is that I already use a PC (laptop) daily, so it makes sense to also use it to play games rather than buy a separate device, especially if I mostly play cheap indie games with low spec requirements.

China is the most populous country, as well as one of the largest, to be able to achieve this.

Compared to what baseline? What’s the normal amount?

Banning all car journeys under 20 minutes would not only be unenforceable (people will just make their journeys a little longer) and unpopular, but also superfluous and even counterproductive given the other measures that would make said journeys unappealing to begin with.

Content (images, audio, text…) generated by GenAI. It’s slop not quality-wise, but because it’s mass-produced (as opposed to artisanal creations).

Not all slop is AI-generated, though - we had mass-produced content before GenAI, too. GenAI is just turning it up to eleven.

Hopefully that’s just a joke and he understands that this is just to put the (literally) astronomical amount of gold on that asteroid in scale.
