If I do lose you in this migration, I'm sorry. I'll try to put it all back together again on the other side.
I created this account back in 2017 and never used it and didn't really know how it all worked. I'm enjoying it, but I think I am going to migrate to a different server/instance (dice.camp). If I understand it, my followers and my follows go with me, but my posts do not. Hopefully, for anyone reading this, you won't even see a difference, really.
@Alphadean At this point, it might have to be in January. But I'd love to do it.

We binged the hell out of 1899 on Netflix this weekend and absolutely loved it. Binging it was the best way to watch it, I think, because it's like an engine that once it gets going you really should just hang on and go with it. #1899
If I could have a minor superpower, I'd want to walk into a room and *whoosh* put everything back where it belongs. Then I'd head straight for the British Museum

Well, if there was any chance that I might have considered going back to Twitter, before, that's gone now.

They'll let just anyone (back) in there, I guess.

This one is my latest, which is still being built. For @MonteCook 's #cyphersystem supers setting Claim the Sky. As you can see it's smaller, becoming more streamlined.
I have almost 50,000 followers on Twitter (or, more precisely, had) and I am getting similar RT and like counts on posts with 1700 followers here on Mastodon. More motivated people here? Less crowded? Less Twitter noise? Less likely to have post buried by algorithm? Me, quickly looking up how to spell algoryhm again... #twitter
@jodyhouser I am.
You know what they say: for a writer, every day is a weekend. Unfortunately, you work weekends.
