You seem like you’re already doing everything you can to treat your symptoms. As Kolanaki said, there is no cure for the common cold. I’d continue getting as much rest as you can before your vacation. My colds usually take atleast 7-10 days to fully go away and that’s with proper rest. Sometimes I’ve gotten lucky and only had symptoms for a few days. If you have a sore throat, throat coat tea helps as well.
It’s crazy to think it’s been that long. I thought it’d be harder to fully switch from Reddit to here but I’m finding that I’m enjoying my time here WAY more then the 8 years I was on Reddit. I tried scrolling through Reddit a few days ago and it just didn’t feel the same as usual so I went ahead and fully removed the app. I’m happy to be here ☺️
When the mini game is better then the actual game
Great quote. It’s how I try to think of my anticipatory anxiety. You double the stress by being anxious about it before it even happens. And it usually is not as bad as the grim scenarios I make in my head to overwhelm myself.
Totally understandable, it’s been really nice to see communities grow in engagement. Just something else I love about the site! Looking forward to it 😊
