I have a flat-footed cat. It’s called carpal hyperextension, a symptom of weakened tendons, caused by genetics, injury, or malnutrition. Given she’s a rescue from the woods of a Boy Scout camp, I’d guess the latter. She’s been vetted but missed it because she went ballistic and had to be sedated on her initial visit. I’ve sent pics to vet and will cope with her next visit next week. She is not in pain as no limp, no tenderness. Hopefully good diet will correct this mineral deficiency.
