#cats I’m sure he’s planning to arrange this whole quilt tonight. Black cat loafed up on the corner of a very bright field of diagonally patterned scrap quilting squares.

Too much fun! #crochet
I have a flat-footed cat. It’s called carpal hyperextension, a symptom of weakened tendons, caused by genetics, injury, or malnutrition. Given she’s a rescue from the woods of a Boy Scout camp, I’d guess the latter. She’s been vetted but missed it because she went ballistic and had to be sedated on her initial visit. I’ve sent pics to vet and will cope with her next visit next week. She is not in pain as no limp, no tenderness. Hopefully good diet will correct this mineral deficiency. #cats
#caturday #tuxedocats. Semi-feral Oreo eating on my lap. Tiny 5’8” adult female rescued from a Boy Scout camp a week ago. Still spooky about sudden movements but she fell asleep in my lap yesterday. Now using the litterbox and gorging on food has slowed down some. Fully vetted, had everything you’d figure she’d have after at least two months in the woods, she’ll be spayed when she’s healthy enough. Hopefully to be a house cat if current cat approves. Very affectionate. Loud purr!
Update: joy, look what my husband brought home from Boy Scout camp. (Usually I’m the sucker for kittens.) Female, maybe a year old by her teeth, 5’8”, unspayed but will be, hope she’s not pregnant already. Friendly but went ballistic at the vet’s & sedated. Shots & testing, etc.= $400 !!!! so I guess she’s ours now. I hope she gets along with our boy Wizard. Probably a “dump” and lucky to get caught now as the season is over & cold weather is on the way. #tuxedocat central Ohio #catsofmastodon

Fifty years ago, I was pregnant with Sean, and just learning from my maternal grandmother Gladys Weidle how to crochet. Still at it! #crochet
