This is an adaption of an old Python programme I created a few years ago.
I changed it to use the Picozero Python package. The LED library in the package makes using LEDs with Pi Picos easier. The LED is connected to GPIO pin 15 on the Pico microcontroller.
As it stands (I will be adding to it) it flickers the LED. The data has timing parameters and LED brightness.
Finished the moon lander.
A reminder of what it's made of.
Table tennis ball, two deoderant applicator balls and lid, parts of two smoke alarms, various unused kit parts, various spare decals.
The base is from a Thunderbird 5 kit, but it's a puzzle why it shows the Moon and not Earth.
So the decals have been slapped on.
Time to spray some varnish and think about moon weathering.
Been painting the kit and plastic packaging bash moon lander.
A bit more painting, then I'll have a look through my decal spares (never throw away unused decals!) and then some moon/space weathering.
What next?
I think I need to finish this.
Paint and decal it.
This will be my next build.
Bought it about 10 years ago i think.
A lot to think about.
Do I make a diorama?
Do I go with the included colour schemes?
There is a figure for the suit and another one standing.
I haven't painted large figures, a lot to learn with that.
Finished the Airfix Mary Rose kit and diorama (for now).
I guess you could say it's been upgraded from the basic kit with decks, nets, shrouds, rigging and it's in the sea.
I have modeled it in the act of capsizing.
I think doing sea is a weakeness, although it's my first attempt.
Working on painting the sea.
The Mary Rose sunk in the Solent a stretch of water between the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth.
Compared to the seas and oceans it is relatively shallow, so the colour is usually lighter and greener than those.
I have some Vallejo Water Texture arriving today.
Water, water, every where,
Nor any drop to drink.
So I completed the campaign in 'Under Falling Skies' and I have a problem. The campaigns were all initially flat packed into the box, but once you use them they don't fit back in.
I put each chapter in a bag and now the box isn't big enough to hold all the game components.
Has any one solved this?
I was concerned when I started on the first chapter.
The box should be about 50% thicker.
