We’re proud to share the launch of EARLYSCAN, a new European cluster uniting three Horizon Europe projects: SHIELD, DISARM, and PREDI-LYNCH, under the EU Mission on Cancer.
EARLYSCAN brings projects together to align clinical pathways, data standards, and implementation practices — moving from isolated innovation to coordinated, real-world impact.

We’re proud to spotlight Reccan AB, a Sweden-based biotechnology company and a core partner in the SHIELD project. Reccan is pioneering the development of diagnostic tools for early cancer detection, with a strong focus on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), one of Europe’s deadliest cancers.
