@louzao @WalterShaub Our government are doing the same in UK - crushing our National Health Service through slow privatisation & chronic underfunding. Meanwhile people are now dying in waiting rooms & ambulances; and government are telling people NHS doesn't work anymore & some are forgetting the last 75yrs & believing them. It's a disgrace & it's frightening.

@littleelse Our family has managed to avoid Covid so far 🤞 by taking precautions & minimal risks, as our daughter with CKD has dangerously low GFR & is now ready for transplant. It's bad enough we have to watch her consultant surgeon constantly pulling up his baggy blue while we sit there in N95's but the thought of her being so vulnerable while she's having this lifesaving procedure is terrifying.
@bobpatin @rbreich At the end of the day, everyone involved wants their piece of the pie & there are shareholders to please. Plus, monopolies are efficient for the performer (the whole package). Money has become the priority, & so integrity goes out the window. It's good ole supply & demand & they'll make as much money as they can get away with. More fans will be priced out, yes, but as long as the tickets are sold, they don't care who to. It's tragic & will get worse.

@bobpatin @rbreich Ticketmaster monopolise huge swathes of seats for every show & put them straight onto StubHub, leaving little for the venues & other third parties. So fewer & fewer tickets are available to the public at face value. And brace yourselves for demand driven pricing (not just TM) coming to a theatre near you soon. 😱
