I’m reading “Poverty, By America” by Matthew Desmond and he doesn’t explicitly mention capitalism until the last few pages of the book. Then he says it’s wrong to blame capitalism, when it is the system he just described. WTF.
So I wore my Thought Slime shirt to go vote early today. And the (Democratic) inspector was teasing me about it. He asked me if people should be allowed to vote if they admit their thoughts are slime. I said “Well he’s Canadian.”
Then when I was waiting for Adam outside the guy came out and said “Ok is Thought Slime a musical group or what?” And I said he’s a Canadian comedian and political commenter. And he was like “oh yeah politics is messed up there too. In every country.”
