I have good news as i have not posted in forever i landed a consultant position helping a company set up internal statistics for meauring benefit of products using R. It has been tough getting back to work. Working 5 to 6 hours straight was tough im not ready to work up to 8 hours yet. I am still a one handed programmer, but i am in a situation where my body was affected more by the stroke more so then higher thinking and personality those came out rather unscathed by stroke.

Hi mastadonians I seek advice from anyone. I am disabled and trying to get a job but i make it to 1st inter view rounds but iblew it i think it is coming from a lack of confidence the disability a stroke has affectd my ability to work i was going for dataanalyst jobs i am working on my portfolio currently. And i am not confident any more how do i build up confidence.

I have recovered enough to finally play tag in a very slow fashion with my niece, i can't run but can walk fast. And can tag with one functioning arm.

Dealing with my boomers family is hard they are like children any criticism hurts their feelings.

My boomer parents and aunts and uncles are very materialistic it doesn't cross their minds to buy experiences as gifts. They are stuck in a mind set that everyone wants things for gifts. Their mindset works for kids but not adults between 20-50. What is a nice way of telling them this. They seem to recognize their gifts are not liked by some nieces and nephews that are adults.

Here in USA december 21st is the first day of winter I am actual excited for winter. Wevhav had a few winter rains but waiting for the atmospheric rivers. That dump 5 to 7cm of rain. I am not used to metric system but i am going to try to use it on a daily basis. The hair cutter system I havre is in centimeters. I am due for a bad hair cut.

Covid almost over for me, taste come back slowly. Missing sour taste at this point.

I am not a conservative but i thinkthe best way to save republicans would be Niki Haley president and vice president chris christie, but we know republicans gave into fascisms and can't get back to sanity any more they let fascism go too far.

I have been testing for covid the last few days as i went to an event with family and a lot of peoplefamily members are test positive, i think i finally broke my covid virginity finally started feeling chills and stomach pain three or 4 days after event. Will test later today. If covid it would be my first covid.
