Sync for Lemmy - Logo ideas - Lemmy.world

These are my takes on alternate Sync logos for Lemmy (I made that rat from a while ago) The logo for Sync is so tied to Reddit for me personally, that it was hard to think of ways to translate it to Lemmy (or the Fediverse overall). Orange and Blue are signature colours for Reddit, but Lemmy doesnt necessarily have a colour scheme. Nor should it. that’s up to the instance operators to choose, making their community unique. I also like the general Fediverse pentagon logo, but it can look quite busy… I did what I could. I’m an average designer at best ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Blur NSFW - Account Settings? - Lemmy.world

Would it be possible to implement a Blur NSFW setting that’s tied to your account? Almost every Lemmy app that’s popped up lately has a “Blur NSFW”, but it affects the app as a whole and you usually can’t set it per account. Some apps let you change your Lemmy Account settings directly within it, it’d be much handier if the Blur setting was there.

Lemmy is going up and down every other day, and as far as I can find, there is no official site or blog or thread to update Lemmy users on things that are happening. Instance admins moving servers I understand, but if Lemmy itself is down, where do people go for overall status updates?

300 characters is great for plain text, but when youre using CommonMark to to insert icons that act as hyperlinks, that eats up a lot.
