Heath update:
He pooped today. It's been two days since he started eating on his own. Yesterday he began drinking on his own. Today the first bowel movement since the obstruction began. I think he's just going to live now!
I cannot believe one vet early on during this said to euthanize.
Little guy is really thin. Reminds me of when he was young. But he's happy and himself.
My mom is a big damn hero since this happened with me out of town while she was watching him. She took him to the vets and did his meds and feeding syringes.

He is at the vet again.
He's still not eating well on his own after the foreign object.
Vet says it could be another week before his system is back to normal (assuming no other complication).
He's not out of the woods yet.
Donations for his vet bills have been amazing. I've cried because of his illness and because of everyone's kindness.
You all really helped him and everyone who loves him.
