One of my books from 1902 is a story in three parts called 'The Roadmender' by Margaret Barber (Under pseudonym Michael Fairless), it's a kind of spiritual metaphorical kinda thing, but the descriptions are super neat and pretty. Also Eron gave it as a gift in 1921.
