Ugly and low quality -- this is what I call the contemporary style of architecture. If that's the progress everyone talks about, then I'm not impressed.
We need Visionaries.
What we have is Anti-Visionary thinking - we read news (which default to be bad since that generates clicks) and then tell each other that we do not want that. That 'someone' should do 'something'.
You can start by doing something good in YOUR LIFE.
Spread the mindset.
Eventually new masterful Visionaries will rise. To end on a humorous note, today I have the compelling vision of baking a Khachapuri (georgian comfort food) today...

When I search for AI on youtube... I find everything but Visionaries. It's not like few. None. We have this great chance at our fingertips, but people are more stressed as before.
Creating something - It comes all down to having a vision, time and money to pursue it. THAT has AI not changed, BUT AI made it cheaper. Everyone has visions, so how to find the time? And I do not talk about Thursday evening and Saturday morning Side Hustles.
What kept you from becoming a creator BEFORE AI is what keeps you from becoming a creator AFTER AI.
Everyone and his mother is using AI, but I see no improvement in the world. Could it be that we keep thinking of all the great stuff SOMEONE ELSE could do now instead of building SOMETHING ourselves? I look arround and I'm not impressed.
If you want to prepare for a turbulent future, learn how to REALLY relax in ongoing dilemma situations.
Was das Steinzeitgehirn triggert, bekommt Aufmerksamkeit.
