Izzy and I were sitting in the front yard yesterday when we saw a neighbor/friend walking with her dog, Walter. The neighbor has warned me to keep Izzy away from Walter, because she thought that he hates other dogs, or so said a trainer. Izzy wanted to see Walter, despite his barking. The neighbor was nervous about it, but Izzy slowly approached while Walter barked and jumped around. Walter calmed down and then they started playing and jumping around! #mondog #rescuedogs #Springerspaniel

Izzy, our anxious rescue dog, doesn't like to walk very far from our house, but she is always happy to sit in our front yard with me and see who walks by. (If I go inside, she will come with me, reluctantlyl.) Izzy had a busy Monday morning, first going for a walk with me and my wife, then playing with her son, Star, who lives nearby and happened to stop by, and then playing and walking with her friend, Milo, a sweet golden retriever. Izzy is now resting at my feet, under my desk while I work.
