Negligence is Foolishness

But this child had long been curious about the swimming pool in the school. Instead of returning to class, she wandered toward the pool. Sadly, on that day, the maintenance officer had left the pool gate unlocked while attending to a blocked water pipe....

In traditional communities, when a young girl’s body developed curves, it was a mark that she had entered womanhood.
Standard of Beauty:
In songs, dances, and even marriage negotiations, big buttocks were often praised as attractive and desirable.

Words can heal or destroy. The Bible likens the deceitful tongue to a serpent’s bite—sharp, poisonous, and deadly.

A Father’s Burial

During the burial of a respected man, his only son wept bitterly. He loved his father so deeply that he cried out, “If only I could, I would be buried with him. Life without my father is meaningless.”
As the coffin was lowered, the boy in his grief moved too close. By mistake, he slipped and crossed over the coffin. In shock, he quickly jumped away. At that moment, it became clear though he claimed he wanted to follow his father to the grave but....
In 2014, 17-year-old Grace from the Democratic Republic of Congo underwent life-saving surgery to remove a very aggressive tumor.
The huge disfigurement was sprouting from the centre of her lower jaw bone and was formed by cells that usually make the enamel of teeth.
If she didn’t have it removed, it would have eventually suffocated her to death.
