[He nodded with a slight smirk. That was exactly what he wanted to hear. He appreciated tenacity and determination in his employees. He wet his lips as his phone started to ring. He glanced at the screen and then showed Lenin before placing a finger against his lips. Sliding to answer, he kept his voice quiet.] Good evening.

@BrassKnuckleBruiser

[He listened to Lenin and his suggestions, and when he asked if he could offer his own suggestion, he nodded and waited. His brow arched a bit and nodded again.] Most definitely. That's most certainly an option. I also reminded Timchenko of the fact that you two were deep in his organization. To keep that in mind when deciding. You two know things, know allies, know enemies. And I'm not above using every last trick of the trade to do what we must.

Well, I knew that if I offered him a deal, it would have to be a good one for him to say yes. He was pretty upset. But I thought I wouldn't make it easy for him to say no. I'm sure he's currently weighing his options and deciding if his rage is worth losing out on this.

[He reached over on top of his desk, grabbing a folder and handing it to Lenin. It was the deal he'd sent Timchenko.] Take a look. Tell me your opinion. You know him. Do you think he'll take it or...are we looking at war? [He raised a brow and sat down, waiting for Lenin to thumb through the documents and tell him what he thought.]

He attempted to assert his authority, to frighten me with his power and his dominance and wealth. And while he very well might beat me and mine...I was willing to go to war over it. Still am if need be.

@BrassKnuckleBruiser

Well, Ms. Daniels is quite...alluring and yet an equal match for Mr. Ivanov. And from what I hear, Ms. Haviland is quite the spitfire as well. [He chuckled.] Of course. You're now part of my outfit. And I wasn't blowing smoke when I said that we are like a family. And that I go to bat for my people. You and Ivanov have value. More so than just the skill you have in doing a job. Timchenko failed to see or acknowledge that. Doing what we do is like running any other -

@BrassKnuckleBruiser

-you thinking about what I've told you?

@BrassKnuckleBruiser

[He was still waiting on Timchenko's answer, but in the meantime had decided to fill Lenin and Kirill in on the matters at hand. What had happened at the meeting. What had been requested. What had been denied. And what had been alternatively suggested instead. He noticed Lenin was lost in his thoughts and remained quiet for a few minutes before clearing his throat.] No apologies needed. It's a lot to take in. I understand. Tell me...where is your head? What exactly are -
