Wikipedia is rolling out anonymity features piloted in countries with authoritarian governments in the US & is making a change to not show editor IP addresses in response to a global "increase in threats" from Elon Musk, Heritage Foundation, and governments

Wikipedia Prepares for 'Increase in Threats' to US Editors From Musk and His Allies

The Wikimedia Foundation says it will likely roll out features previously used to protect editors in authoritarian countries more widely.

It is ridiculous how a boss with covert malignant narcissistic personality disorder can mess up people and their own company, just because they really need to dominate everyone. Toxic af and hard to spot. Also not sure how to deal with people who have no empathy. I'm sticking to scared for now ^^"
When you create an server component with an async polling fetch request, but nextjs invariably caches during a single request all fetch responses. 3 hours later 😅 🤦
Today I met WAAPI. It was invisible the naked Dev Tools, but then I casted lots of commitStyles() on the document.getAnimations() and it revealed itself to me.
Getting Covid for the first time, having my new dental implant removed due to complications without anesthesia, having to tell everyone I got Covid, not being able to officiate on the weekend. This week is going great. But at least my first webworker is running. :-)
Also I read my not yet cast vote is going to succeed greatly. Going to enjoy that on the weekend.
What AI really should help me with is when I make an assignment like:
obj.width = width
obj.height = width
It should remark that I might have assigned the wrong variable name to the property. And here is me trying to figure out for hours why the texture looks broken on the offscreen canvas.
Also creating a bitmap from svg data inside a worker seems to not work. You have to create it outside and send it back in.
When they make a binary salutation field required but also have a title field, just be a Mrs + / Mr / Please Choose + your name, just to mess with their system :-)
Why are communities not protected against investment companies? Seems similar to alienation of affection, which is punishable by law in some states. People invest their time and energy into communities, just for someone to buy the entire communities like e.g. twitter and destroy whatever got invested or might come out of the investment. The body of users should be able to sue the person or company proposing the sale. We need to put a price on the loss of our networks. The damage is huge.
Instagram automatically enabled the comments filter, after I accidentally poked a toxic cloud and got shitstormed, which is nice. I'll just leave it on till it moves over. Didn't even know the feature exists. :-)
I really love the git graph vs code extension. :-)
