I think there's a narcissist dick-wagging angle in Elmo's decision to reinstate the account of Donald Trump.

Thus far his account is back but he hasn't tweeted.

It's a direct challenge to the viability of Trump's own shitty website among the MAGAt crowd. It may even be a taunt, designed to induce him to violate contractual obligations to post at TS before other sites. It's probably an attempt, amid defections to get Trump to sanction Twitter.
