The software on the Volkswagen ID.4 is just so terrible. In the past 4 days alone, I have had one of the electronic door handles just stop working, the infotainment computer repeatedly crash and reboot during the entirety of a 15 min drive, and, today, the driving computer crashed while I was on the highway, killing the speedometer. This is all on top of the laggy UI and smaller glitches day to day.

If you’re thinking about buying one of these things, save yourself the trouble and don’t.

Was out photographing the Milky Way last night. While my camera was shooting away on the tripod, I took this shot from my chair…handheld…with my iPhone.

Just amazing how far phone cameras have come in the last few years! Yeah the image falls apart compared to a dedicated camera on close inspection. But I am still blown away that such a tiny sensor could capture this much detail (and without a tripod 🤯)! #photography
